was (legally) shopping online for music today when I came across a fun
featurette in the iTunes Music Store: Celebrity Playlists! If you’re
interested in learning more about the musical tastes of mammoth talents
such as Donnie Osmond, Jamie Lee Curtis and Richard Marx, then you’ll
have a blast surfing through these compilations. And not only do you get
a list of the stars’ favorite songs, you’re also given explanations
to why they cherish each track. For instance, and I’m not making
this up, Track 14 on Sammy Hagar’s playlist is the song “High
and Dry Again” by Sammy Hagar and the Waboritas. He says that it’s
his “favorite sex song.” Now we can all agree, there’s
no better love-making music than Sammy Hagar, but can you imagine the
extra pleasure you’d experience having sex listening to Sammy Hagar
if you actually were Sammy Hagar (not to mention if you were
a Waborita). Talk about a rockin’ orgasm. Who even needs a partner,
right Sammy?
After several hours of playlist perusing, I came across
a particularly eclectic assemblage of music offered by the sublime Britney
Spears. I’ve transcribed below exactly what America’s favorite
preggo posted as her ultimate musical grab bag.
